"The balance of your order will be shipped shortly."

Avoid the use of negatives in your business correspondence. Instead of saying " We have not shipped it yet" say "It will be shipped shortly."

Better, if you can give a reasonable time frame, say "The balance of your order will be shipped within the next two weeks."

Yes, it is acceptable to use the term "shipment" to refer to any product, including trains, cars, airplanes.

I hope this helps.

Yes you can use shipment no matter how it travelled. It is usually used to describe a large amount of non-food products being moved from one place to another.

I can't think of a word for orders which have not yet been shipped. I would just say what you said which is that the orders have yet to be shipped to their destination (but add how long they will take).

You are very close, you would probably say.... "The remaining sales orders which have not been shipped yet."

Very close and any English person would understand.

And yes, you can use the word shipment in any case of air, boat, train, car.....

You speak very well.
