What is your opinion about Islam?

In my opinion Islam is the best and most updated religion given by Allah the only one God with its holy Qur'an and Hadeth as our life guidance.If we followed this life guide we will have safety and happiness in life here in this world and in the life after death..Islam is peaceful and logic religion which is guaranteed by Allah its originality.of holy Qur'an.
Holy Qur'an is in line with modern technology.Jesus will come again to this world 40 years before resurrection day and he will acknowledge that Islam is the right religion.
Islam is a pure monotheism religion .We can not live in safety and happiness without Islam.Islam is a vital religion for making a good heart and good brain of humans.Islam is not a myth because Islam given by Allah and it should be imple mented in our everyday of lives.Islam is a very great religion

We respected Jesus as a prophet but he was not the son of Allah because Allah has no son and no wife.We believe that Muhammad pbuh as the last prophet..Muslims believe the life after death which is divided into heaven and hell.Every human should be responsible for his/her own doing in this world..We do not believe the inheritance sins.

To me the most vital thing Islam needs is some centralized authority speaking out against the acts of the radicals. Unfortunately, Islam is very non-hierarchical, so there is no central group of perceived leaders of the Islamic faith that speak with one voice and condemn the actions of the heretical.

Where is the public outcry from Islam's theologians over the acts of these radicals? It is missing in the media and the silence among the leadership is deafening to the observers on the sidelines.

If Christian radicals were performing the acts that we see Islamic fundamentalists doing, there would be a world outcry among the leaders of Christian organizations condemning these persons as heretics. It would be in all the newspapers, television, etc.

Muslims are quick to point to the violence recorded in the Christian bible and claim that Christianity’s early history was violent, too. But unlike the Bible where some very awful HISTORY is recorded, the violence described in the Qur’an is part of Islamic THEOLOGY. This is a very significant distinction between the two belief systems.

The famous Muslim scholar and “father of modern history” Ibn Khaldun states the dichotomy between jihad and defensive warfare thus:

In the Muslim community, the holy war [i.e. jihad] is a religious duty, because of the universalism of the Muslim mission and the obligation to convert everybody to Islam either by persuasion or by force... The other religious groups did not have a universal mission, and the holy war was not a religious duty for them, save only for purposes of defense... They are merely required to establish their religion among their own people. That is why the Israeilites after Moses and Joshua remained unconcerned with royal authority [e.g. a “caliphate”]. Their only concern was to establish their religion [not spread it to the nations]… But Islam is under obligation to gain power over other nations (The Muqudimmah, vol. 1 pg. 473).

I believe Islam is going through what the Christian faith went through during the Reformation. During the Reformation religious leaders were forced to carefully define their doctrines, that is, what do Christians really believe? This established a baseline of orthodoxy that then could be used as a litmus test for the practices of self-professed Christians.

Islamic leaders must do the same thing. They must codify their acceptable theologies, especially the violence now part of the Sharia, Muhammad’s Sunna (4:24, 4:92, 8:69, 24:33, 33:21, 33:50), and the “sword-verses” of the Qur’an (e.g., 9:5, 9:29). Then Muslim leaders should defend these theologies against heretics loudly and publicly.

When I was going through these answers I was shocked to see the majority of the response of the people.They say Islam preaches Intolerance.People who say that it preaches intolerance,have they read Quran? So how can they say something like that.People believe the media as their religion.Cant they see how wrongly they represent their religion by being intolerant towards Islam just because some fanatics take the name of Islam in creating world chaos.VIOLENCE:The act of hurting someone.Everyone who has said something wrong about Islam is violent,because they have hurt someones sentiments in doing so.Let me ask them does their religion preach violence and intolerance?No religion preaches violence.In criticising Islam,they have violated their own religion.People this is a sincere request.Only write what you know.Don't go insulting religions just because they have been mis-represented.Now out of this it would look like I m Muslim,but I am Hindu.God is one,religion is just a road towards him.

They make me wonder where their heart is. The ones that come here claim to be peaceful, but say nothing against Shirah Law.

The make me wonder why they have any sort of belief in their religion, when history clearly shows that the common Muslim does not know the history of their own 'scriptures'.

They seem to be against separation of the religious body and the government. They use rhetoric to to tell the world that it would be better to combat rapists, when they actually persecute Christians and anyone else who does not comply with their ideology.

They seem to be no less than another Inquisition. The likes of which are all too well known with those that they put to death.

Islam is like Mormonism, in that they take the Bible and add their own meanings to it. And then they do not come up with an Islamic Bible, yet they claim to say that the parts of the Bible that they believe in "show like light out of darkness", or something to that effect.


Islam is the reason why we are at war.

Islam is a title and an ego that has a problem justifying itself. Intellectually the Muslim mind has been dead, producing nothing new, since the 14th C. Muslims now are parasites feeding off the bounty of progressive nations. Like parasites they destroy what they feed on.

It is basicaly a religion of intolerance and preaches violence and hatred. Unless you accept the true meaning of "kaafir", you will never understand what is islam.
