He or she, whom ever they maybe ..hiding under an alias, stated that Christians (catholics to be exact) are practicing cannibalism via the Eucharist)...I answered that he is "stupid" for saying this, because I saw it as "a cheap shot", toward the Catholics especially after studying the details he/she listed on the question which showed that this person 'clearly' was taking a cheap shot at Christainity. The coward reported my answer as a "violation"....( as if I really cared....but it got me thinking...who else may feel the way I do about such cowards, that attack anyones Religion?)
So, what do you think?....Is it correct to call someone whom listed a question such as that "STUPID", for taking a "cheap-shot" at the Eucharist and them that practice it?
(...the poor fool....dint' even look up the word "Eucharist" to even check its roots or meaning..............

You do have the right to your opinion friend and that is absolutely true.
However, my sins no matter how small or large I am willing to face in confesion or at the last day....from your tone though; I wonder are you ready for yours?...unless of course you are "sinless"...then do bless us all.
have a nice day...

I have encountered types like that many many times in this section. The guy was trolling and you fell into his trap. He wanted you to react that way so he can report you.
Instead of calling them names my response is to copy and paste the whole teaching so that he will be "informed." I close by saying "thank you for the 2 points."
Peace and every blessing!

Such nonsense. The eucharist is not cannibalism and the elements do not turn into the real blood and body of Christ by magic anymore than my welch's is going to turn into choice wine and make me drunk when I drink it! All the Catholics I know say it's just a ritual and a family tradition. In all reality - the majority don't really believe in what they say and do while participating in the traditions. That explains why some Catholics live immoral lives - they are depending on the sacraments to save them when the traditions are ultimately powerless over life and death and are not magical. Other Cathlolics believe that Jesus paid the penalty for their sins and that they follow the Catholic church as the original establishment of a church group because their family is so involved for many generations not because they believe the sacraments are real or that the preaching they are hearing is even true. I know it's weird but that's been my conclusion from speaking with alot of different people over many years.

The Christians look down upon, and, condemn/curse those of other religions into the Christian Hell. Then along comes along a thin skin Christian crying out because some could think rather than spout the rote rot of the Shouters. If the Christian documentation is correct the wine is transmuted into the blood of Jesus and the unleavened bread into the body of Christ. It is dictionary definitive a type of cannibalism even if symbolic.

Well, you're not playing with the kids now, youngun' you got one of the Elders. Now back your words with proof outside your silly contradictory books or go confess your sin of vanity.

Please climb out of your padded box and realize that your religion, as many other religions, build their own web of sins to trap their Flocks of sheep. That you fulmanate over a truth, sets you into your own channel to your own fate. Where you look to a dead end as a goal, there are many who look to an eternity of learning and understanding, not just memorizing the words of a single belief structure. I do feel sorry that you place such restrictions on yourself.

I understand why you're pissed about that, but I also get the point the other person was making...What if you were from a culture that had never been exposed to Xtianity before? And you were told the part about eating Jesus body and drinking his blood...you might get the wrong idea too if you didn't know any better...

Well the eucharist, although not true cannibalism, has parallels to societies whose beliefs fostered cannibalism.

The Eucharist is a symbolism of consuming the body of christ and there-in his dieals (I'm not catholic, but I had this explained to me by one.)

Many cannibals of early Americas consumed their foes in the belief that doing so would also consum their strength of will and battle.

So even though one is clearly more extreme than the other, they do share very common roots.

Well it could be taken as symbolic cannibalism, "Eat my body, drink my blood," you can see where some might get that idea.
