I started practising spirituality 6 to 7 months ago. Initially, I had the same question as you. But when I started having spiritual experiences in my life, I realized that I was on the right path. There were positive changes in my life, positive changes within me etc.
Anyone and everyone can practise spirituality - trust me it is real. But you have to give it a try......

When I met the living God...Jesus Christ; I had already accepted Him into my heart, and agreed to let Him be Lord of my life. But one day I was singing a praise song to Him, like I had done everyday since I had said the salvation prayer..if you will...and there was an actual presence in the room. I knew then that Jesus is really alive...resurrected from the dead...sitting at the right hand of the Father...and the Holy Spirit living in me, made Jesus known to me. I have been praising Him and sitting in His presence ever since then. He is the most incredible God. I love Him so much. You would too if you met Him. Why don't you ask Him to reveal Himself to you today. All you have to do is be willing to let Him be Lord of your life. To let him be God. Of course first you have to admit that you are a sinner and a miserable god of your own life...and that you are in need of a real God. A perfect God. One who shed His blood for you to cover your sins. One who rose from the dead and will come to dwell in you by the Holy Spirit if you will but surrender. This will be the best thing you have done in your life. I would not trade Jesus for anything. He is everything. He is so good. Lord Jesus you see this one seeking...please come into their heart. I love you Lord. Amen

the amazing awe and splendor of my mere existence in this god awful godless world we live in . and the sometimes feeling of love between rational human beings that gives meaning to an otherwise meaningless universe. the feeling of the spirit that soars in this natural world is nothing short of
beyond words or need for explanations and myth.
