Hatred exists because people follow man-made religions. Which are sets of traditions and teachings that were at one time designed to help people get closer to God. But they are still man-made.

People spend more time trying to follow religious guidlines then they do actually getting to know God. There is so much defining, so many man-made laws, so many minor differences in teachings that people are ready to kill one another for disagreeing.

If people would spend as much time knowing God as they do defending religion we would live in a much different place. Yes, there would still be those who believed that God tells them to kill - but those who truly know God would not be inspired to follow them.

And no, I don't believe God is one man. Nor that God even needs a gender or human traits.
