if there were no tendinous cords attached to the tricuspid valve, and the right ventricle contracted, where would the blood go and why?

it wouldgo back into the right atrium instead of the pulmonary arteries. The tendons are there to close of the ventricle when pressure is applied in the opposite direction( ie, when right ventricle contracts, the tendons stop the tricuspid valve from opening into the atrium, its a one way valve only!, only opens to the ventricle.)
