At age 17, you judge healthy weight by height, not age. And,
you're already within the healthy weight range for your height. (Actually a couple pounds under)
On a adult body, loosing more than 2 lbs is considered highly unusual and potentially unhealthy because you are it indicates that you ae actually lossing muscle mass which will negatively effect your metabolism. You body will begin to process food slower and any weight you gain back will be more fat than healthy muscle.
Also, on you 10 is 10% of your body weight (VERY significant!!!). The change would be as dramaticas an average height women losing 15-20 pounds. And in 2 weeks?!
My advice to you is not to aim at losing any weight but instead work at toning existing muscle which will regulate your healthy muscle to fat ratio by themselves- and remember not everyone is meant to be stick thin if that is what your aiming for.

The only way you can possibly loose that much weight in such a short amount of time is going to be an eating disorder. If you are allready that light at your height/age it sounds like you know how to loose 10 pounds in 2 weeks. I would guess that your have a serious illness and need medical attention.

Exercise everyday like jogging around the block
Skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day
Dont eat until you're full
Eat fruits at night if your hungry.
Drinks lots of water and stop all the fast food and chocolate.

At 97 lbs ... you are already at a healthy weight ... probably a little underweight ... if you lose 10 lbs you will look like Nicole Richie did. No boobs, no butt, no anything that makes you a woman. You will look like a child. I'm not trying to be rude, but why on earth do you think you need to lose weight?

How tall are you?
For most 17 year olds, 97 pounds is very small. But, if you're really short, then it just depends. Are you a midget?

Maybe you will benefit from some toning exercises as you sound healthy for your height.I have carmen electra volume 2 dvd(there's no stripping,just toning eercises) and i saw results in 2 weeks after doing the dvd daily.Windsor pilates is also really good.As for diet,just don't eat crap.

you're already quite thin - if you lose ten pounds, you will start to look really skinny. at the weight you are at now, it will be difficult to lose that much weight because obviously there isn't much excess fat on your body.. eat healthily - lean meats, lots of vegetables and fruits, cold water (as the body warms the water to body temperature, you burn calories.) do aerobic exercise... i don't know. good luck.
