I have 5 cats who normally clean and play w/ eachother. One is sick . 2 cats jumped him in his sleep 1 nipped @ him after licking him twice. Why do they Pick on the Sick???

cats do that (brutal as it may sound).
the best thing you can do is keep the sick cat away from the other ones until he feels better.

they do the same like humans,when were sick usually we get crabby also,i have been sick and yelled at my son for something stupid 'then say sorry,,cats do it also,,,i have 3 cats 1is old and sick and the other are her daughters ,,she is always trying to fight 'slap or chase these sweet cats,,,she has timeout for 5min when this happens,,

it goes way back. in the wild they often kill the sick to protect the pack/herd/group. hence the catch phrase" survival of the fittest."

Because they are trying to kill off the weak to prevent them from spreading their filth to other animals.
