There is a book entitled THE LOST BOOKS OF THE BIBLE and I once read it and forgot the name of the author. It was written in English and described some things that is not in the original bible. I think this book may have been published by a catholic religion. Help me to find this book and thanks.

I don't mean any disrespect. But I believe if there were any truth in this book you describe, that truth would have made it into the Bible. God brought all the other books together. If God wanted that book to be included in the Bible, He would have included it. It would not have been lost.

Holy Quran has very comprehensively dealt with the issue of early life of Jesus as a little boy which should be actually the absolute necessity.The rest are just bedtime stories.Concentrate what Jesus wanted to be conveyed for the future generation.

I don't believe that it came from the Catholic Church. The Church rejects the books that claim to be "lost books." It only recognizes the original Canon of the Bible.

There is not much if anything about Jesus as a child.
Maybe you read something from the Dead Sea Scrolls but if it was not in the Bible I would have to question its validity.

Why look into lost or untruthful book when all the truth you need is in the Bibel, the Word of God.

I'm sorry,but there are no lost books of the Bible.The 'lost books' were never in the Bible to begin with,and they didn't measure up.

Anne Rice is writing a series of novels on the early life of Jesus.
Should be more entertaining and every bit as historically accurate as the bible.
Anybody want to bet in 500 years it will be part of Christian canon...The Book of Rice

Whatever we need is found in the Bible now. Anything else is man-made.
