Yes, you have to go to the dealership, and you also have to provide proof of ownership and also have valid ID..because the key has to be coded to your vehicle..that is why you have to provide the VIN#. Cost is about 35.00..

Not necessarily. A good locksmith can come out to your vehicle and with a special tool to insert into the lock.He can make you a set right there.Its' a little costly.But may be cheaper than the Dealership.

The answer is YES/ Take your paperwork with you to the parts dept.They need your vin numbers to be able to make you a new key.They usually cost around 10 to 20 bucks.
