Eating cold food can only use more calories and make you thinner, although that is unlikely.

Cold food heats up in your stomach by sapping body heat, that drop (prolly very very miniscule) triggers more calories to be burned to generate more heat.

Every action requires energy (eating and digesting included) so eating cold food could only cost more calories to digest.

It depends on what the food is and what the calorie amount is. Try to find a book that can give you that information.
