Okay So I have this really cute boyfriend,and I am in love with him like no other and he says he feels the same way,all my friends say to break up with him because he gets way to jealous.I'm not sure if it's love or obbsession or maybe both?I miss him and want to cry about how much I miss him,after about 20 minutes from when I left his house I started missing him so much.I want to be with him all the time.We talk 24/7 or when ever we have the chance to.

All romantic loves have an element of obsessiveness to them, so that could be normal. But, when you say "jealous" what does that mean? To what degree? Does he go nuts on you when you ask another guy for Chemistry notes?
Your hormones could be making you miss him a lot more, too. I don't know how old you are, but sometimes age plays a huge role in how much we are affected by a romantic relationship. It makes you feel less in control when you are younger. The feelings of romance can be so overwhelming and dizzying.
When you like somebody a lot and have strong feelings for them, then yes, it can be defined as bordering on crazy and obsessive. But look at both of your behavior before making a judgment. If you guys act nuts and out of control with jealousy, etc...then it could be a little unhealthy. Monitor your behavior a bit before throwing the DSM-IV at your doorstep though =)

You're probably very young and the start of a relationship is that stage when you feel like heaven beside that person.
I think it's normal to miss him after spending so much time together. The crying part, i'm not too sure. You'd still see each other so I see no reason for crying or being teary eyed.

You are heavily infatuated with him and if it's true that he does get jealous then that is a sign of insecurity. I'm not saying break up with him, but friends are usually righteous about many things that may not be apparent to you, because you may be blinded by your love obsession. It sounds like you're a little more obsessed about him than you are in love with him. You should question yourself of what you love about him. What makes him so great? Ask your boyfriend about what he could possible be jealous of and set things straight so he doesn't feel like he's on a wobbly bridge.

Stop letting your friends lead your life. If you don't think his wanting to connect with you every 20 minutes is not a problem, then it isn't. However everyone should have a balance in their life. Soon things will settle down and you will have time for your friends and your boyfriend.

naw dont dump the poor guy...guys are always jealous, and once he feels comfortable and confident in your relationship, things will be perfect. it very well could be love, just give it time, things will fall into place.

If you feel his attention is fine then no worries.It sounds like it is a new relationship.If his jealousy becomes a problem for you then talk to him first about it.
