The Roman Catholic Church is the Whore of Babylon in revelations and the old babylon is in Iraq, and the new babylon is the Vatican with the Black Pope - Mr Kolvenbach
note: here is an interesting thought.
the NASA space program could be thought of as the new babylon. And their space crafts as their new Tower of Babel.
Apparantly NASA officials are occultists. They named their space crafts after occult dieties and have occult meanings. The tower in the bible was destroyed, so this is their second attempt of reaching the heavens and they succeeded. When Louis and Buzz where in space/on the moon, they conducted occult rituals and ceremonies. They are both 33rd degree freemasons. They weren't astronaughts who happened to be freemasons, they were freemasons who happened to be astronaughts, that is why they were selected to go up. Buzz took a flag with him of a double headed eagle of scottish rite masonry, hence when they landed: the eagle has landed.

Many claim it is America.
Others think of the Catholics and think it's the Vatican with the Pope as the Anti-Christ.
Those are the top two choices.
I think it's a delusion.
Honestly - if one reads Revelation there is no 'new Babylon'. The city is a real physical place, and existed during the author's time. It is not meant to be symbolic - but that the city itself as it existed was to be the bringer of such strife.

It`s a state of sin.Revelations talks about it as literal and spiritual.It will be in Rome and it will also be in the hearts of man.It`s when you are in deep sin when your in babylon.
