I wish I had an example of what I wanted. I guess I'll descibe it or something. I want to (perfectly) crop around a picture of a celebrity, then one of my friend so it would look like they were in the same picture. I just don't want a jagged edge around the picture. Does anyone know a free downloadable program or preferably a website to be able to do this. If you don't understand what I'm talking about, please ask me.

you can do that with windows paing but its is a bit tedious, the way you do it would be fist off you would want to open a blank windows paing and then edit the other to pictures with paint when i say paint i mean windows paint and use the star function on the tool bar to drag the mouse around and cut the person out, after that copy them and paste them on the new canvas, use the xoom feature also to get out close to the body to not leave any outside parts ot the pictures and to make it smooth.
if you want som ehelp with it e-mail me or contact me if you dont understand me

I know what you mean, you want a cut out only of the celbrity with no background.
I use photoshop element 2 & 3 and can do it easily there. I don't know if free ones like Picasa, will cut out this way, usually they only crop with background showing
