On opening word file i receive an error message "Word failed to start correctly last time"

try running the following two menus of ccleaner
cleaner > Analyze > Run Cleaner
issues > Scan For Issues > Fix Selected Issues

it shows that sometime when you were working in Word your computer was shut down badly, due to power failure or by any other reason, it lost of corrputed soem system files. You can fix problm by chkdsk command.
Goto Command prompt
type "chkdsk" then press enter
it will fix all problem.
But still u have same problm then do this
open my computer---right click on the drive where MS Office is installed....(usually its drive C:) then goto "Properties"
You will see "Tools" tab there press it and then press "Check now" button....it will scan this drive for errors it your problem will be solved.......

once again install the office but now this time check only the repair option it will do

uninstall the ms office and then re-install it
