Girls come and go. Girls are all over the place. If you see a girl you might like, try going up to her and chatting. Although that'd be kind of weird at the mall or something. Try and make small talk with girls when you're waiting in line, or something like that.

Sounds like your looking for something serious. Your on the right track though by avoiding the bar and club scene. Theres usaully very few women there that most guys would consider relationship material. Lets face it, none of us want to bring over the villiage bicycle to meet mom. Try meeting somebody that likes hanging out where you do and shares your same interests. Lets say you like country music, go to the country concert at the county fair or occasionally pop in at the local music store. If your religious, go to wednesday night mass. Basically, they aren't just going to show up at your doorstep, go to where they are. And as far as, "what to say?" Ask some girl a question pertaining to where your at. For example, Is that CD pretty good? Do we really have to wear these goofy shoes to bowl? something of that sort. Just be yourself. The biggest mistake I see people make is that they try to act like somebody they're not. Its only a matter of time before they find out what kind of person you really are. Mingle away and If she shoots you down, oh well, you lost nothing because she wasn't yours to begin with. Good Luck

Find some kind of group to join. Something you're interested in. You'd both have that in common for starters then, and it's how a lot of people end up meeting people. Or try internet dating sites. Although those are hit and miss. Still, they've worked out really well for some of my friends.

anywhere. make it happen in a natural way, if you don't go to bars. You can chat with a nurse when you are in a hospital, or chat with a librarian when you borrow books in a local library, or simply a friend's cousin. These are simply examples here. It all depends on your actural situation. If you are a sports lover, you can meet girls when you play sports and etc. You know what I mean ?

My ex-father inlaw says he met his 1st wife at church and lost her to a bar. He met his 2nd wife in a bar and lost her to a church. Those are the two most common places. However, I met my ex-wife at a county fair. YEEHA! I ain't even country but that's as country as is gets! My last girlfriend and I met in the ordering line at Schlostskys. Who knows where the next one is at - just keep trying. As for what to say..... haven't figured that one out yet. And if any guy tells you he has, he's lying.

You can meet awsome people in a book store, coffee shops, theatres etc. It doesn't have to be in a bar or around booze.

Its not the place that matters. You can't judge a person just because you met her in a bar or you met her in bookstore. Just open your eyes and mind.
