Just the puffiness, but it helps with laugh lines, too.

It does work for minor puffy eyes. It won't take away the dark circles, just the puffines. Just buy the original Preparation H or any original formula generic brand should do. It won't help if you've been crying all day though. I've tried it for that and the puffiness reduces but the red and sore look stay.

Yes it really does work. They actually make a cooling gel...thats the one I use, and I keep it in the refrigerator. The added coldness helps with the puffiness. It wont really help you with dark circles, except that dark circles are less pronounced when your eyes arent puffy. Eat more vegetables, get more exercise, drink more water and most importantly get enough sleep. That is your best defense agains the dark circles.

My main question to you is why are your eyes puffy to begin with.

Short term solutions are just that and the irritation under your eyes may be caused by lack of sleep. smoking, diet and on and on it goes.

Always be careful when putting anything near your eyes esp if it is not made for that purpose.

I know models and actors use this trick because of the anti -inflammatory in preparation H.
This is a "band aid " solution not a cure.

Make sure you hydrate effectively and find a good eye cream for day and evening use.

my grandmother told me about this forever ago, and it really works! I would go with the ointment or cream. Your preference....but the ointment is a little greasy. Put around eyes at bedtime and under neck. Rub in good. In the morning you look more refreshed! It takes the swelling and puffiness out....great for crowsfeet. Not sure about the dark circles...I would recommend vitamin E for that.

I've been using preparation h for a couple of weeks and to be honest, I don't see any improvement. Not only does it mess up my make up, but it's not a good thing to be using near the eyes, as haemorhoid cream will thin the skin over time. cutting very thin slices of raw potato, or boiling tea bags and then putting them in the fridge to cool before applying for 5-10 mins will reduce eye bags, plus it's much much safer. hope this helps!

Preparation really does work. I have used it for years.

I'm just curious why you are worried about the wrinkles since most of the time they will be covered by your underwear.

NO! They took out the ingredient that helped slightly, so it's a complete waste of time and money. Do not use any haemorrhoid cream on your eyes...
