We are getting a new house and I was wandering what theme I should do my room in. I thought of an ocean theme and a Tropical theme. Do you have any other ideas? Hints on how to do things or things I could do to help my theme would be great also. Thanks in advance!

I know this probably isn't detailed enough. How about a Japenese theme. They have all their furniture on the floor...low. You could decorate with tea pots and stuff like that.
Or you could use like a panda bear theme with bamboo in vases or bamboo leaves on the walls..? Or you could do a wicker basket theme. where everything on your walls and everything in your room is wicker. except your furniture of course, because that might be too much.

Red for LOOOOOVE, try going to a fabric shop with all the trimmings and get a FEEL of the materials, then go to a paint shop and get some of the colour cards and sit in the room if you can and mix and match your chosen colours and don't forget to get some colour cards out of your ordinary thought cause some weird ones might contrast well with others. i suggest choosing paint first and then your curtains and linnen later then you can go for doona covers that match the permanent paint, and thus you can vary your linnen when you have to change your linnen on your bed.

You could do an arabian theme have all the cushions,carpet , sheer and stuff or something oriental eg Japanese if you like to keep it simple.
