Satan (lucifer) chose to desire to be like the most high.

Revelation says that the dragon (satan) drew up a third of the stars in his tail and flung them to the earth.

Satan persuaded a third of the angels that they no longer needed God and took them with him in his fall.

hope that helps

Yes, angels have Free Will, else Lucifer would not have fallen from grace.

An omnipotent God cannot create a morally free creature incapable of choosing to do evil. Lucifer chose to do evil. Lucifer was morally free.

Yes or there never would have been a following for Lucifer. They have been doing the same thing for centuries so by now it's habit and no longer thought of as free will.

We all have free will, or agency... humans, angels, even Jesus Christ and God the Father have this right... it is a gift to all and it is up to us to use this wisely... The thing about this free will for all of us,.... angels, as well as us humans here on earth, is that there will always be the law that goes with this gift.. there are good and bad consequences for our choices and actions... we are given them to learn how to choose wisely... As far as Lucifer goes, he chose unrighteously due to his desires to reign in God's place... he wanted to have the power and glory that belonged to God... so he deceived many followers and still works to have many more now! We have to choose not to follow him and to choose to follow Jesus Christ! Does this help ?

Most certainly they did and still do this is why Satan was able to get a third of the angels in heaven to join him in his rebelion, if they had no free will he could not have done so, this is why the angels were able to decide to leave God's assignments to join satan in his rebelion to God and the rest of the angels chose, to stay loyal, to God, and refused to join satan, it is the same with us humans, we have the free will to go on God's side and willingly serve him orwe can refuse to serve God and go to the side of satan and be in servitude to his lies by being misled into thinking that we can benefit from following his ways just like Adam and Eve did.

no,angels all have their duties, created for the specific purpose of serving God and carrying out His commands.

The Qur’an speaks of the charge of the angel of death in these verses:

[The angel of death, who has been charged with you, will gather you; then to your Lord you will be returned.] (As-Sajdah 32:11)

The Qur’an also mentions angels in connection with Heaven and Hell:

[Gardens of Eden which they shall enter ... and the angels shall enter unto them from every gate.] (Ar-Ra`d 13:23)

Also angels record the deeds of humans as long as they are on earth:

[There are over you watchers, noble writers, who know whatever you do.] (Al-Infitar 82:10-12)

[Over every soul there is a watcher.] (At-Tariq 86:4)

Angels do not have free will. They are merely messengers of lower level deities in heaven. Angels do not even have the spiritual level to fulfil our wishes. In fact, when we pray to angels chances are that the prayers are answered by Negative energies rather than Angels. By fulfilling our wish, negative energies infuse their black energy in us.
