so i'm currently a sophomore at college... and i hooked up with this guy last friday night and without getting into the gory details, it was absolutely mind blowing. he was a gentleman, he wasn't selfish, and was amazing in bed.
anyhow, he woke me up around 8am, told me he had to leave, kissed me and left. and when i woke up later on, i found a post-it note with his NAME (horrors, i wasn't THAT drunk) and his phone number written on it stuck to my desk.
i'm just so confused because honestly, this was the first time i have had a random hook up, and my understanding is that guys don't ever want to see the girl they hooked up with ever again...
so did he just leave the number there to be polite? or what does he mean by that? i'm so confused, please help!
oh and he also left his belt in my room which i still have... i don't know if that's relevant at all to the situation.

well here's the thing, we have NEVER met before that night, and we only talked/danced/made out for about an hour or so at the party before we went back to my dorm room. does that change anything?

He left his belt on purpose so he'd have an excuse to see you again. If you're too nervous to call, you could always text him. Just don't wait too long! Definetly call him though, if he didn't want you to call then he wouldn't have left his number.

Well maybe he's not that type either.
But you never know.Just say if he was the type to have
a one-night hook-up,maybe while he was conversating with you or uumm,while you were in bed.He might have thought that this might actualy work.Maybe this is a girl who I can relate with and actually start something with.
I saw a movie,with the exact thing.
The guy was paid to take women on dates and do whatever they wanted for them.Usually because the women are trying to get back on there exes or something.
Anyway he realized at the end of one aggreement,that he loved this girl,not just some random weekend deal,but actually wanted to only see her.
Maybe thats how it is for you and him?!
And with the belt.Maybe its a sign?!LOL!

Your are right most guys who have a one night fling quietly sneak out and don't want to hear from the girl again.
If he left you his name and phone number then that means he wants to hear from you, probably to see you again, and probably he will want to "hook up" with you again. Where it goes from there is up to the both of you.
It may be bold of you, but he most likely wants you to phone him, and to do it this so he can set a date for this weekend. If the guy is as good as you seem to think he is then hold on to him and go for it.
As for the belt; there are two possibilities.
One: some people leave something behind as an excuse to return to see you.
Two: It was a simple mistake.

First of all I think it means he wants to see you again. But do you care? So the sex was good. Relationships are not based on sex alone and almost NEVER work out when they start off this way. If another steamy hookup is what you are looking for then keep his number. If you are looking for long term love then I would start by getting to know someone. Good luck.

Yea, he's into you. Call him. Make a joke about having his belt. If he weren't interested he would have snuck out while you were still asleep and he definitely wouldn't have kissed you or left his number.
