That is the way with most people. Its the trust thing, if they trust you it will work out if they don't what do you do? Most of the time its the shy thing, if you are too shy you don't say what you really mean and women need to hear it, even if its a line. Life is too short to live with regret, ask, understand and know what you are doing is the right thing. Take care Heather

Wondering if I'm getting to know him, or getting to know what he wants me to see of him. Is he a closet assh*le? Getting past feeling and thinking that is the hardest thing, my guard is up for quite awhile.

getting a boy to ask you out. when you're not the most socially acclimated person (or the prettiest) you have a very hard time getting people to want to be around you, let alone a boy want to date you.
