Your Beautiful In French

You don't. You say "You are beautiful": "Tu es belle" if you're speaking to a female (it would be "Tu es beau" to a male).

This is an example of how you have to think differently in different languages. In this case "You look beautiful" in English is made to seem weak and indirect by comparison.

In Dutch, you can't say "I love you" as such, You have to say "Ik houd je van" which is 'I hold onto you".

Tu es ravissante works for me.
In Quebec French you can try "tu es écoeurante" but do NOT try this in Europe! Céline Dion got in trouble for that once.

The Wall Street Journal weighs in on the Air Force's recent tanker contract decision, and the defense "patriots" who have risen in support of Boeing and its losing bid. As the Journal observes, it's the Pentagon's job to protect taxpayers, NOT a defense firm that screwed up the original 2004 tanker deal--through its own misconduct. Rebidding the aircraft contract--and the selection process--took another four years to complete. Meanwhile, our tanker fleet isn't getting any younger. The KC-45 will be built in Alabama, Ohio, North Carolina (none of which are a part of France, least not last time I checked) and other states for EADS and its Los Angeles-based partner Northrop Grumman... which is not a foriegn firm, what with Los Angeles being part of the Union and all that. If you knew diddly about this, you would know that the Pentagon's job is to defend the country, which means letting contracts that best serve American soldiers and taxpayers, not certain companies. What's really going on is a familiar scrum for federal cash, with politicians from Washington and Kansas using nationalism as cover for their pork-barreling., and Senator McCain has long stood against pork-barreling, what with him being a conservative and all. Defense Department rules explicitly state that jobs cannot be a factor in procurement and that companies from certain countries, including France, must be treated as if they are U.S. firms in contract bids. Such competition ensures that taxpayers get the best value for their money and soldiers get the best technology. If you knew ANYTHING about this subject you would know that the prior Boeing tanker lease deal was rotten to the core. It had been negotiated by then-Air Force acquisitions chief Darleen Druyun, who inked the agreement after receiving a promise from Boeing to hire her as a senior executive after she left the Air Force. Druyun and the Boeing official who negotiated the employment deal with her, Michael Sears, were both eventually convicted and sent to prison, and Boeing chief Phil Condit was forced to resign along with Air Force secretary James Roche. Any rational person would understand that you might want to look at other bidders after that. This is the Democrats looking for something to hit McCain with...it does not stand up to rational investigation or thought. Learn what you are talking about before you shoot off your mouth in an ill-informed partisan rant next time and perhaps you won't make a fool of yourself in front of the entire internet. BTW before you start ranting about cheese-eating surrender monkeys you might want to Google "Verdun" "Charles Martel" "French Admiral Francois de Grasse" "Dien Bien Phu", "Austerlitz" and "Borodino"
