If you can prove that an insurance company is cheating their customer, you can complain to the State Department of Insurance as well as to the NASD and SEC on the violations. Securities violations are taken very seriously by the latter two organizations, if any allegations are proven to be true the company violating regulations will get fined and or lose its license to sell securities.

Be extremely careful with launching such a website. If you are NASD Licensed with either a Series 6 or Series 7 Securities license you will be launching a very regulated website and must get absolutely everything that you post on it approved by your broker dealer before even putting it on and this is if they even approve for you to have your own website about it anyway!

You would be best served in launching a website that is a portal for information and link to websites that contain the info you are looking for on each fund and their performance. You do not want to state any kind of future earnings or performance data on your own site, you can and will be placing yourself in a large amount of legal trouble!

You can start and organization, corp that educates people about the hidden disclaimers that could ruin them before they invest in mutual funds.

There are many computer programmers or IT guys that can help you set up a website for a very low price. Also, registering for a domain name is nowadays very cheap. You could try your local yellow pages or search online for such people. I think this could be an awesome and successful business if you wanted to pursue it as one.

Alternatively you could write a book and educate people in financial seminars by revealing the dark side of mutual funds, since this is what a majority of people invest in.
