Probably Protestant (KJV)... and it would be the last day my son would attend public school.

Not that it would ever happen, but hypothetically...

Because the curriculum in the US isn't really nationally regulated, it would probably depend on the preference of the teacher and to some extent, the school. Most American Christians (and therefore teachers) are Protestant, so that's what it would end up being in most cases.

It would also probably be an "easy-to-read" version, like NIV or even the Message.

Probably Protestant or Lutheran because they're the most popular. They have Catholic schools. Maybe they would adapt it for all forms.

If it isn't the original canon of 73 inspired books, it isn't the Bible. Anything less is only part of the Bible.

protestant. protestant is the bible theology the country was based on. the founding fathers of America never wanted a catholic or luthern president for our country. this is the land of the free religions, not the land of the pope's religion.
