i think its made by lazy boy, but not positive on the name brand. it has a specific name.

My friend has a reclining loveseat that each side reclines indepentantly. Could that possibly be what you are looking for? That way you can sit side by side but don't both have to be reclining. It is made by La Z Boy. Call your local La Z Boy store and just ask, usually they are very helpful. Good luck!
