Would you guide me?

I love all these answers.
Every answer shows an understanding to blindness.
Meaning we all understands what it really means to be blind..unless of course you're blind. And only when you can see...then you will relize you where blind all along.
Do you see what I'm saying?

Yes I would. People come into people's lives for a reason so if you were blind, I would do my job...to guide you. I would also like to add that I work for an Ophthalmologist so I know from patients what it means for them to loose their vision, some even overnight and they can watch it happen and do nothing about it. It is devastating!

Yes I would guide you and help you in every way I could. Just because it is the right ting to do. Nobody has to tell me that.

For an unknown reason you have no sight. I have sight and you may need aid. I would first ask you if you wanted my help and if you agreed I would help you.
I am disabled but refuse all help. I have gotten over my disability and if you met me you would have a hard time seeing it. However at the start of this disability I had people who I had never met before help me whenever I asked. That is what kept me alive, humanity.

Maybe depends on the details and if it were needed or more important wanted . I've heard from numerous religious people that I consider blind but many don't even want my guidance and so although I give my opinion sometimes trying not to be offensive I keep in mind not too push or hurt in the process and am continually working on improving this restraint . why do you ask ?

Yes, I would. But I'd also make sure you had a chance to "see" by experiencing things by touch, taste, sound and smell.

Learning Sign Language I had 2 days where I had to try and be deaf....and both my worst and best days happened...The worst where friends (people I knew well not casually met strangers.) came up to me and said, Oh you're deaf I'll talk to you tomorrow. And the best--a friend came up and asked how I liked his guitar playing. I signed I was deaf and he took me over to his guitar and laid my hand on it as he started playing.
