The Test Analyst make decision of what to do with the software. They analyze, study, create abstraction, design, research, and suggest what to do to make a certain software perform it's best than expected. While, the Test Engineer makes necessary programming and modification of the software. Debugs, repairs, and do certain upgrades to achieive its maximum performance. In short, the test engineer will be the one who will perform what the test analyst wants to do with the software.
I hope this helps...

The Analyst is responsible for the overall systems design (how it is to be done, what options need testing, etc.) and the Engineer is the person familiar with the hardware and software that does the actual testing and reports the bugs, reports, timings, etc.

i think of you're asking what the version between a Programmer and a application Engineer is. if so then the respond is definitely only the employer they artwork for, only as one compant could have verify-out Clerks at the same time as yet another could have shop Assistants. i've got in no way worked everywhere that the two words have been used, and have not seen the identify Programmer used on a job description for years.
