I'm a teen and I often remember the good old days when I used to eat candy all the time, cookies and milk for breakfast, chocolates, anything basically and sometimes I wish I could go back. Now, even though junk food probably won't make me gain weight, I try to avoid it because I know it's not healthy. Part of me wants to just enjoy life and eat like I used to when I was a kid but the other half tells me that I'm getting older now and that I need to start thinking about my health for the future. Does anyone else feel the same way I do? I try to eat healthy during the week and then enjoy the weekends like I used to...is this a good idea?

As my nutrition science professor used to say," there is no such food as good or bad. Eat everything in moderation."
I think you are okay if you try to eat healthy during the week and give yourself a little treat on weekends. You might also want to exercises regularly. That would help. Good luck!

Same here, but you can still enjoy life without junk food. There are plenty of healthy foods that taste just as good. Also, since weight gain isn't a problem, you could allow yourself a treat every week or so if you really want to eat junk food again. It's not like you're being forced to eat healthily.

Make me sad? Hell it puts me in depression! lol Yes, I wish I could eat like I was a kid again.. unfortunately everything slows down when you get older and junk can no longer be part of your regular diet.. On the weekends, sure, splurge a little.. but dont over do it - just a small snack or treat here and there. good luck ;)
