many reasons
1. its corny - sometimes we may love you but we just dont feel cool saying it. It makes us human rather than macho man.
2. were not ready - You might have rushed it
3. we dont love you back - it could happen. some times we have an agenda and werent really lookin to take it that far
4. we HAVE to say it back - sometimes you hit us with this unexpectedly so were wondering if saying it back is right or will it be weird if we just smiled and nodded?
(I love you changes everything in a relationship so when its said, make sure its timing is right)

That means he's giving you a challenge. It's like marketing. You will desire more the thing that is hard to get for you. If he treats you well and show to you that he loves you, then you don't have to worry. But if he doesn't treat you well and doesn't respond to your iou word. There's something wrong here and you should be aware.

It's not hard if you truly feel it.
If he's not... well... then that should tell you something.
Plus you shouldn't expect an answer back, if you are, you aren't saying it because you love them. You're saying it because you need validation.

some guys dont want to say it until they really know they love you. i hear girls throw that word around all the time. then i see them say it to anouther guy 2 weeks later who they've only dated for a week..
sounds stupid but if they say it atleast you know they really do love you

because when u say it sometimes it is hard some people worry about the future like wat are other people gonna think if your with this person and really in love hes not in love with you unless he says it back, he has other girls and thats the way it is sorry
