I just talked to me ex on the phone after seven years and it felt like yesterday!! I always thought he was my soul mate that got away. I never realized how much I missed him and it amazed me after all this time how we could just pick up from where we left off!! Anyone else with a story like that?

Who knows, there is no flashing neon sign that says SOUL MATE when or if you meet them. I have some friends who if I see after a while i feel awkward with and others that i don't see and like you said it feels like yesterday. Some people just click like that. I think the key to a good relationship is being on the same page, knowing where you both want to go, standing beside each other and loving each other unconditionally. Talk to your ex and see if he feels the same as you, who knows maybe you are meant to be, or maybe it is just an old comfort zone that you are feeling.

I actually don't believe in soul mates. I just think when that moment comes and you feel like you have found someone you really want in your life forever, words can't describe the feeling and "soul mates" sounds romantic and perfect. But, life is imperfect, people change over time, the romantic feelings pass after awhile. Have you noticed that people usually don't use the term "soul mate" to describe somebody they have been with for years and years?

Yes, I've heard it before. Do you remember why you broke up? Remember - the bad stuff. What you are thinking about is the good times...but you need to remember the bad times too. They will come back.
If you think you have a chance together, consider counseling together so that old issues don't come back.
And, yes, I both believe in soul mates and am with my soul mate.

Umm.. yeah, there are people that I run into and it seems like we just talked yeserday.. but I have to say that I don't believe in soul mates. I think we choose our destiny. Life is all about choices. Think with your heart and your brain. Don't go with only your heart and risk having a rough road ahead.. However, happiness is everything. Do what makes you happy in life.

I won't say if my man is my soul mate but I know he cares for me alot. I guess not all are lucky enough to find their soul mate.

find yours early in life, or late in your Golden Years. Rarely,
people fail to meet their Soulmate at all.
I have yet to meet mine (hope I'm not one of those rare ones
that never meet up). I crave love and loving people.
