I wanna experiment and get a new haircut
and I noticed a lot of guys with long hair.
[i dont wanna copy them but ive been getting ideas]
and it looks like a lot of them are straightened.
How can you tell, and how long should my hair be?

i don't know any guys who straighten there hair, theres a thing called naturally straight hair

You can straighten hair whenever its long enough to put a strand in a straightening iron. I will suggest however, if you are talking about putting a chemical straightener on your hair like at the salon, to think twice. I can make your hair really frizzy, especially if your hair is natural curly. My hair was like 5 inches of my head one time, and I straightened it everyday. And there are some really cheap irons at Wal-Mart or wherever that work really good. Just get one with aluminum plates so it doesnt burn your hair up.

I think thats all about personal taste. I'm not sure how long your hair is now but if its an inch or longer than you can use a straightening iron on it. I personally don't like guys with hair more then a couple of inches long.

it has to be longer than the straightener is wide... but its not going to look shaggy if you put a straightener in it... it will just lie flat

ooh i kno what you mean! all my guy friends straighten their hair.It looks pretty cool tho when they straighten it! Your hair just has to be long enough that you don't burn your head or hands with the straightener! lol
