I know we as women put so much pressure on ourselves -- but how much do men really care? I'm really interested to know -- what percentage of men expect perfection -- and what percentage of women think they all do? I know I beat myself up all the time about it. curious... what do you guys think?

I know for a fact that I prefer a some imperfection. If a woman is too perfect then I feel and my experience leads me to believe that her personality is flawed in some way.
Sometimes for me the so called imperfections are actually marks of beauty.

I beleive that men are attracted to a women by the way she looks. Thats what gets them to come over to talk and flirt with you, no? The majority of guys i know are more interested in the physical attractivness of women. If not, then why do guys constantly rave on about how hot a girl is, or how great of a rack she's got? Im telling you guys, if you only care mostly of whats on the inside, you certainly give out the wrong impressions! Unless the guy is not so good looking himself and takes whatever he can get!

Well there is no definition of the word "perfect", because attraction is subjective. HOWEVER, I don't think any man wants a girl who is especially overweight, just as women would rather their man not have a huge beer gut if they had the choice.
It seems that a lot of overweight women are frustrated and condescending about skinny girls; that they get the men, saying "What is so attractive about skin-and-bones?" Well, what is so attractive about flabby bodies? Curves? Who's to say lots of curves are attractive? Even skinny models have curvy hips and legs and butt, etc., just not all the extra baggage. It's all subjective, though. Any of this can be attractive to anyone.
As a whole, though, society is attracted to a fit person. And skinny looks more fit than overweight does. So guys don't expect girls to be model-esque, but that doesn't mean guys should be looking for obese people either.
There is no Perfect.

Men have different opinions on what an attractive woman is, just as women have different opinions on what an attractive man is. There is no perfect. There is no ideal. Some men prefer skinny model-like women. Others prefer a more womanly, curvier body. The important thing is if you're happy with your own body. Do not try to reshape your body for a man. If you like yourself, someone will come along who will like you for who you are, just as you are.

I'm a woman, and I think 95% of the pressure women have about their body is put on us by us women. You wouldn't believe how many times I'll nag and bi-tch about my tummy or thighs or some other part of my body and guys will just roll their eyes at me or laugh. I think even if a woman (90%) has a perfect body she'd still complain about something like not liking her toes or some other crap like that.

Honestly?
I don't care if a woman is perfect. But I do care if she tries. That is not to say that every woman catches my eyes. Which is a good thing, because I should be picky because this is supposed to be my best friend for life.
What I want in a woman, is generally what I do in my life. I try to be in reasonably good shape, be reasonably clean, and to do my share of the work.
From a potential wife, I would expect about the same. And if she were to do that, I think I would be pleased. It's not about being perfect, it is about trying.

There is not such thing as a perfect anything and as long as you keep that in mind you'll be alright. Besides I don't need for the woman to be perfect in any way except perfect for me. I'm not that shallow that I judge a woman soley by her physical attributes. As long as I find her attractive then I'm cool. Anyway don't listen to what the world says about beauty because they have a clouded perception of what beauty really is.

I don't expect perfection but some men do. It's just nature they want to go out with some woman who is a trophy instead of a person. I know I wouldn't want that. And I know I'm not perfect so why would I expect someone else to be?

I think that men generally expect women to be physically active but their bodies can be a variety of sizes. There will always be guys who want a certain body type, and other guys couldn't care less as long as you have a meaningful connection.

Let's talk per-cen-tage. If you stand too close behind my
rather large lady friend and she pivots around suddenly one of her cups might help turn that other cheek of yours. Did you go to All Girls State or ace any basketball games? You don't do hog call, I guess, huh? I'm happy to say not only can my lady get some piggy but in Senior Year she was a school Piggette. Now, that's PERFECT. Y'think?
