It's probably cat acne! Most cats have it and it's hard as heck to get rid of. You can try washing it and feeding him out of a metal bowl but other than that, it's very normal.

One of my previous cats had this and it turned out to be acne, but if it is left untreated it can turn into bad infections which it may have done if you say that the dots are green. Or they could be something your cat was born with. Either way if you are worried take him to a vet just to be on the safe side.
Remember that if you cannot afford vet fees there are organisations like the Blue Cross that will help with the bills.
Also this year there is a new legislation that states if any animal in the care of a human shows any sign of sickness, and the owner does not take it to a vet for treatment then the RSPCA will have the right to look at the animal and if needed to take the animal away from you.
So just to be safe, take him to a vet. It is probably nothing, but its best to be careful.
Smiles :)

No it is not normal. It may just be were he got bit by an ant or some kind of insect. Maybe you can try putting a little ointment on it for a few days and see if that helps. Maybe try calling a local vet and ask them what it might be or what you can do. You may want to take your kitty to the vet and get it checked. Good luck hun.

Sounds like a fungal infection... Take kitty to the vet so it can be diagnosed properly and be given the correct medications. Does the cat regurlarly eat from a non-too clean dish? Does he have access to a dirty wet yard? I strongly suspect fungus. If it is... that spot will grow and the fungus will infect a larger and larger area of the cat's face and head!! Take the cat to the vet.

If your kitty has acne, feed him food and water out of glass bowls only, anything else especially plastic could make it worse. You can wash it with acne medicine delicately, but to make sure it doesnt travel inside his system and make problems worse you may want to inquire about a short term of antibiotics. If that;s what it is though, usualy acne looks like brownish or blackish dirty on their face, I havent heard of green.. it could be an infection that you want to get treated.

Hi, I've had 4 cats and never seen anything like this. You need to get your mom to take the cat to the vet (whilst you're there, take Hammie too!!)

Sounds odd-your best to take him for a vet check.
Vets can be expensive but if he gets sick you'll feel really guilty for not going.

I know you have a tube of that red lipstick, wipe it across it lips a couple of times and the problem is solved.

if your cat is different colors, like white w/ black spots these are normal.
for example if you shaved him/her you would most likely find that on their skin there are black spots where the spots are on their fur.
