I guess you are referring to my response. Hahah.

Well lets see, maybe because shyt hit the fan, and she laid her weapon down, curled into a ball, and let herself be captured. I find that very dishonorable.

Lynch's criticism
Months after returning, Lynch finally began speaking to the public. Her statements tended to be sharply critical of the original story presented by the Pentagon. When asked about her hero status, "That wasn't me. I'm not about to take credit for something I didn't do ... I'm just a survivor."

She denied the claims that she fought until being wounded, reporting that her weapon jammed immediately, and that she could not have done anything anyway. Interviewed with Diane Sawyer, Lynch stated, concerning the Pentagon: "They used me to symbolize all this stuff. It's wrong. I don't know why they filmed [my rescue] or why they say these things". She also stated "I did not shoot, not a round, nothing. I went down praying to my knees. And that's the last I remember." She reported excellent treatment in Iraq, and that one person in the hospital even sang to her to help her feel at home.

An NBC TV movie depicting Lynch's ambush and rescue, Saving Jessica Lynch, was aired in the U.S. on November 9, 2003, starring Laura Regan as Lynch. In an interview published in the August 15, 2005 Time magazine, Lynch stated that she saw some of it, but that the inaccuracies in it upset her enough so, that she did not finish watching all of it. She added that she may watch the entire film some day.

You chickenhawks that query the honour, experience of accountability, and patriotism of ANY veteran are merely pathetic. despite if she did no longer put off properly decrease than the situations, the actuality of the undertaking maintains to be that she enlisted, she experienced she went to Iraq, and he or she observed hearth. it is not her fault that the Republican public family marketing campaign latched directly to her and it backfired on them. additionally, i've got taken my completely sparkling and lubricated M-sixteen onto the selection and it has jammed. it may desire to have been the fault of the weapon, the mag, or merely dumb success. probable a %. subject (while you're no longer interior the army, do no longer even problem asking because it is not properly worth explaining the acronym to you) or it may desire to easily have been the actuality that it wasn't a good day for her M-sixteen. All kit in Iraq takes a beating, and there is not any longer an armorer and small hands restoration kit around to do maintenance, quite while all people is doing 12-14+ hour days, 7 days a week. no person, even the Soldier who thinks he's the bravest difficult charger interior the international, knows how he or she would be able to hold up decrease than the stresses of wrestle. All we are able to do is our perfect and serve our united states of america to the perfect of our skill with the kit and education we are given by way of God and by way of our militia instructors and drill sergeants. You individuals who're bagging on her, quite you squaddies, could desire to bypass decrease back and take a good difficult seem on the army values, to incorporate the single noted as "admire".

I've never heard that. It's probably because not a single round passed through her chamber. No war supporters I've met have given that description of the event, but then, they're all in the army. Oh, and she was PFC Lynch that fateful day.

My guess it's because she did the sensible thing and surrendered when totally overwhelmed. It sounds like a very mean-spirited thing to call her though. It might stem from the way the administration latched onto her story to prop her up as some kind of big hero, when all she did was ensure her survival. When the real story got out, it seemed like such a let-down that I can see some people turning bitter about it.
Still, given what the poor girl went through, it's titanically mean-spirited to call her that.

I never, never, NEVER heard the story of her firing 30 some odd shots "Rambo style".

All I ever heard from the beginning was that her weapon misfired (likely due to poor maintenance).

Not only her, but many on her convoy, failed to react to fire, they claimed weapon malfunctions and what ever excuse they could come up with, few returned fire, there was no leadership on that convoy, unfortunately, soldiers died because of that, and she was captured, beaten and raped while she was unconscious, a terrible tragedy for anyone in combat, and then she was used by the media, and our government, raped again if you ask me.

did mommy not love you enough? did she give all her lovin' to those soldier boys on leave? is that why you need to act like you do?

Or are you just jealous of real people with real jobs like Joe Biden and Ann Coulter who get on TV by saying stupid things...?
