I have acne on my forehead too. I just found this new solution on the internet, you take nutmeg and milk and grind them together. You leave it on for 1-2 hours. This really works!! You can also make a face mask out of honey and cinnamen and put that on before bed for two weeks. Trust me this stuff works. Hope this helps!!

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Wash your hair better, tie hair back at night, change pillow case everynight! Drink more water, take Omega 3's...Thats step-1
Step-2 Neutragena or Sulfur Based Soaps-NO PEROXIDE based treatments...hrrr hmmm Proactive is a no no!
Step-3 IDK, i do step 1, but now I use home remedies, Honey is good, someone mentioned above, it has anti-bacterial properties and cinnamon dries pimples out. I use, Cinnamon with warm milk into a liquid paste and put on my face for like 15-30 min twice a day, my face is looking real good now
ALSO Exfoliation, get rid of those dead layers of skin!

My guess is that you have bangs and they are causing irritation. Be sure you shampoo frequently and try to avoid hair spray in that area. Also, touching your hair or forehead with your hands. Your hands can cause a breakout of facial blemishes more than any other source. Along with your use of Proactive, you should see an improvement.

Try this for acne:
Accutane-an antibiotic and Ziana- a new acne gel. See your dermotologist. Also wash face with cool or cold water, never hot. And never use scrubs or toners, they aggravate acne. Use a mild cleanser and mositurizer like Cetaphil.
If you want to try an acne system, try Patricia Wexler MD acne line at Bath & Body. Its costs $50.00 for the starter kit, but you can return it if you dont like it. I love her products.
Best Wishes

As weird as this sounds... Honey. Cover the blemishes with a dab of honey and place a band-aid over it. Honey kills the bacteria and keeps the skin sterile and speeds healing. It works overnight.

Try Retin-A. It's a cream that you can get prescribed by your doctor. It speeds up cell turnover so the dead skin cells don't have as much time to clog your pores.
