You can use any program, even Paint.

Unless you HAVE to use JPGs I would not recommend this at all, you will only lose quality. GIFs compress images by decreasing the colour depth, JPGs by removing pixels and "guessing" them later based on an algorithm. Doing both on on image results in very poor looking image, without decreasing filesize. And you will not end up with a smaller filesize without losing too much JPG quality.

You can do it on your computer assuming you have a windows type computer .Open it with windows bit map..
then in top corner click file tab .
and use the save as option.

in the bottom you can change the format to what ever possibilites of your machine.. jpg will be one ..

This is pointless though since gif only uses 16 colors ..

if the image is animated then you cannot convert it to jpeg. if not then you can just open the image in microsoft paint and goto file -> save as and on the dialog box change the file type to jpg and save it.

As of this writing, 3/12/07, this is a free converter. Easy to use and works great.

If you use paint as converting program, it will cause color losing of that picture. Try using microsoft picture manager
(comes with microsoft office).

Open your picture using microsoft picture manager:

Start > Microsoft Office > Microsoft Office Tools > Microsoft Picture Manager

Click file menu, select export
Choose file settings and click ok.
