Find yourself another BF. It is good to have someone to hang with, especially on a cold night.

no.
that's the worst thing you can do, doing something on impulse taht you'll regret later.
take it from me, i've been single a *Long* time but you can't just force a relationship to feel like you're filling an empty space. I heard this recently and thought it was so true and not enough women (myself included) apply it as often as it should be:
a woman should not enter a relationship to find someone that "completes" her; a true relationship consists of two *whole* individuals, complementing eachother.
Hang in there, focus on *you* (get a mani/pedi, go out w/ the girls and have fun checking out guys at a new place you've never been, etc) and when you least expect it, someone worth your time will come along!
Good luck!! =)

You've been used to having someone near and dear to you. In those 5 years you might have taken your friends for granted and getting back to them would be hard since you've been gone for a long time.
Lesson is don't let your world revolve around one person. Keep your friendships alive even if you're in a relationship. That way, when you break up with someone, you don't suddenly feel like you're alone.

Much too soon, don;t get into a relationship, just to be in a relationship. Wait until you find the right guy, but don;t pressure yourself to find someone so quickly, its only been a month. Relax, everyone that was in a long relationship feels lonely afterwards, it will pass.

you were with a guy for 5 years and you expect to be over that relationship in 5 weeks? its not gonna happen. Its gonna take time and it could be lots or a little depending on how the end came and who ended it. you are the only person that can determine that. for the time being, enjoy your "freedom" as it may be. good luck.

You should try to get out as much as possible and stay home as little as possible. Get active and make new friends. You wont meet anyone sitting at home on your couch.
