how to open sound recorder from cmd?

You can only do that if you are Using a sound Recorder that Runs In CMD!!
Or maybethere other ways! But anyway! Keep Searchin!

Why not just put a shortcut for it on your desktop?

Start
All programs
Accessories
Entertainment
Right click Sound Recorder, select Send To, then click Desktop "create shortcut"

This would take less steps than cmd, which is about the same as using start menu to select it also.....

But you may have to type the entire directory location...
Example - C:\windows\system32\sndrec32.exe
