Hickeys are the 'mark of possession' for the teenage set.
A hickey is really just a bruise under the skin. A hickey is a discoloration of the skin—a bruise, really—caused by prolonged suction of the mouth against the skin!!....But remeber if you ever give one or get one its REALLY HARD TO GET OFF!!

It's when either you or another puts you're mouth on someone Else's body part ( with certain exceptions) and suck to draw the blood to the surface. WARNING This could cause problems such as skin cancer and such. Broken blood vessels can cause all kinds of damage (but it's still fun)

blood vessels being sucked to the surface of ones skin, fun for a minute ugly for days, especially when the burgundy turns brown..oh yummy
