I've always heard that girls get drunk faster because they tend to be smaller and have less of a tolerence of alacholic drinks. But regular drinkers that I know "Includeing myself" It seems that girls "Over time" Build up a extreme tolerence to alachol.

As one other respondent noted, men in fact _do not_ get drunk faster than women. Because of their significantly higher muscle/body mass and very different composition, men have to drink significantly more and faster than women to get "drunker" than they. This is why, in the chart on the following website, you'll notice men have to have more drinks than women who weigh the same amount to achieve the same effects. I would contest that by saying women get drunk faster then men, drink for drink. This is generally due to women being smaller so their body can't handle as much.

Actually, biologically, women get drunk more quickly because they usually have a lower body weight, less muscle mass and have less of an enzyme present in their stomachs that processes alcohol.
Boys may do more shots and appear to be drunk more quickly because they ingest more at a higher rate

guys may appear to become drunk quicker because they tend to drink more, quicker and stronger types of alcohol. for the most part men tend to have better alcohol absorbtion capabilities than women. but body composition and metabolism aslo play large parts

Because they don't eat anything while they're drinking. Alcohol and an empty stomach do not mix. Peanuts are not substantial enough to counteract the alcohol.
