The typical day is the mens marine training cut in half.
The day you can get a battalion of all female fighters willing to turn the flank on an enemy that has the heights and artillery then we will talk. However, I will bet that when the fire is coming down on you, you will be all talk and no fight like most women in this country.

1) Non stop training, drilling, getting screamed at and working out.

2) I weigh 230 lbs. Can you throw me over your shoulder and fireman carry me a football field in length if I get hit? Also, when we are out of the wire, the last thing we need is to be distracted by a member of the opposite sex. We have to keep our mind on the mission. If a male and female strike up a relationship in the same company, there is a good chance that it could jeopardize the safety of a lot of people. Especially if one of them has to make a life and death decision between a group or their lover.

I can give you probably 40 more reasons. It's not a good idea. Sorry.

I should of just mentioned Jessica Lynch and left it at that. Little Miss Surrender.

For information about boot camp, buy the three hour series on DVD/VHS called, "Making Marines"... it's a documentary about boot camp at PI, and covers female as well as male recruits.

Women aren't allowed to serve in the infantry because our congress won't approve women going into combat situations. However, many women hold key roles in combat operations and support systems.
