does it show on fri that your taxes have been deposited? what about on the website..if i check on friday to make sure its all ok and everything than will it show that it will be deposited on fri?

on irs, it usually shows up late Wednesday or check Thursday and it will tell you if it will be deposited on that friday.

You need to be checking your checking account to know when your deposit has made it there. The Feds do not send out a notice that the despoist is being made, your account balance just magically grows by the amount due to you. The IRS website (irs.gov) is helpful in that it can tell you the progress of your refund status but I don't believe the exact moment of deposit.

If its deposited you should see your total funds amount raised.. Although being a Friday it may not show exactly where the deposit came from until Monday or Tuesday.. (Depending on your bank)
You can spend your money Friday if it shows the deposit .. But you know it was from the IRS.. so enjoy spending!

your tax returns takes 3 weeks to process if it was done by computer. snail mail takes about 6 to 8 weeks.

go to the irs website click on "where's my refund" type your social security number, the date you filed your taxes, and whole dollar amount, excluding cent value. this'll will get you the date upon which you will receive your refund, deposited or otherwise.
