Ok, so I am a hair stylist. I think you should get long layers. You can part it any way you want then. And side bangs will be super cute. I am a bit round as well, and I think they look good on anyone. =) Well, for the most part at least. Definitely don't chop it short. And don't get too many layers. If you get long layers, and for some reason don't like them, you can just wait a couple of months and get them cut out. =) Hope that helped a bit.

I agree with tapered and layered. I also have long brown hair, and I got it layered, and now I can do all sorts of things that look good with my round face. If I curl it it looks great, if I pull it back in a pony it looks fine, If I straighten it and put styling wax in it it looks modern and hip. Go with layered it will give your face a longer look and more options on styles. Just ask your stylist on the best place to start the layering, the closer to your jaw the better, because it will give you length in your face. Have fun!

I have a round face and bangs because my hair is too curley to have a fringe so if you want it go for it. Also, you might want to go to the hairdressers a little earlier and look at their hairstyle magazines. Remember that the hairdressers know hair and styles so why not ask what they think would suit you.

if u r confused about u r hair styles..whether it will look good or bad u can try this method. ask u r hair styler to show different hair styles on u r face using the latest hair cut on a pc. virtual hair styling techniques are available at all saloons and beauty clinics. u can try it before making any changes to u r present style.
a site called http://www.stellure.com/ is available if u upload u r pic to that site they will show different hair styles on u r face. u choose the best u find. u can even see a 3D pic of ur image. enjoy !

Ask the hairdresser to work with you. Tell her/him you are unsure. It's okay, you don't have to go in knowing what to do. Hairdressers choose to do that because they love helping and get to see lots of hairstyles so they can help you with yours. You don't have to get a lot cut off to make a big difference. And if you like the starting haircut, you can get more cut off later. It's best to get to know the hairdresser, and let him/her get to know you before you make a drastic change, too.
