Over the centuries Judaeism and Jewry has been part of the fabric of life in Crete. There is not much obvious presence these days. Can anyone tell me how to connect with the community in any of the main towns. I wish to update the information for my web site.

I was reading a cookbook recently that contained some parenthetical information about the Jewish community in Greece. (Olive and Caper, Susanna Hoffman)

This is a tough one. I'd check with the universities. They might be able to put you in touch with someone.
