lol (i'm a guy), i have know this girl for almost 6 years now and we catch up every week ( sometimes only a few ours, sometimes more ). Now every boyfriend she has had always gets jealous when we spend time together. I'm not really good looking, i dont have lots of money, im not super good at anything in paticular. I am just an average kinda guy, yet my friend says her bf get jealous. I just dont get it? is it just because she is hanging out with a guy? why are some guys like this? Any thoughts are welcome
O and my friend and i have never gone out, kissed or anything of the sort. lol

Well I'm a girl just to let you know that but seriously its because most guys are so insecure and not trust worthy he thinks that she is going to cheat. Honestly girls are the same way. Some people just don't have any trust at all and they don't have any faith. Honestly I think that if he doesn't have enough faith in his girl to hang out with her best friend then she should leave him because it could eventually cause problems in the friendship I would give up the guy before I would the 6 year friendship good friends are hard to come by you can always find a new boyfriend well I hope that this helps.

i'm a girl, and i know that my boyfriend [when i had one that is] would always get jealous because my best friend is a guy also. and i never kissed him or anything of the sort either. then again, i'm 14 years old and most of the boys in my generation have yet to get hormones and realize things about girls, or just mature in general, and they think that just because a girl is talking and laughing with a guy it means that the girl is interested in him. i don't have any suggestions, because there's really nothing you can do, but that's my thought.

Every one in the world thinks this. I have had a male friend for 21 years and its the same thing, r u sleeping with him, no he is just a friend. Mostely people get jealous when they are insecure and thats their problem. don't give up your friends or yourslef for idiots, take care Heather

Good for you for being a great friend to her - and kudos to her for not ignoring you even though her beaus are jealous jerks.
Anyway - this is not the exclusive territory of guys - women get that way too. Jealousy, like bitterness is a powerful yet unproductive emotion that is rather selfish becuse it is about how one person feels. Blow it off and be glad you have a loyal friend.

Honestly, this stuff dates back to the stone age. It doesn't matter what you have to offer to his girl, whether it's more or less than he can. Most men are actually biologically programmed to protect what they have. Think of it like lions. You've got the alpha lion (usually an ******) and he's with the lioness. Then another male lion comes along, and he is smaller, not an alpha lion, but he starts sniffing around the lioness just checkin' her out, not trying to steal her. The alpha lion gets pissed off and chases the other male lion away.
My point is, is that it's instinct that is built into animals, and we as humans, contain our own form of animalistic qualities.

some guys are just insecure and think that evry boy is flirting wit their gf. It doesnt matter if your good looking or n e thing. I think that its stupid because my bf gets jealous when i talk to other boys who r just good friends. I dont get it but it just seems to happen that way.

A. they are probably really insecure about their relationship.
B. you know a lot about her and could use that. They are basing their decisions off of what they have experienced and if they havent had many woman friends then all they know is guy+girl=dating and anything else doesnt fit to them.

I mean, either he loves hisgirlfriend soooo damn much that he doesn't want to lose her...or he's just doing a sort of 'marking the territory' thing - only he can have her
I mean, no guy wants to think that they're second best
