I wish someone would just say "Yes, I accept that your views are different than mine, but it doesn't make you bad, immoral, blind, hateful, sad, or evil, it just makes you different. I recognize that what you believe doesn't make you an unhappy, bitter person. I will no longer try to save you, nor will I condemn you to hell. Now, how about we all share a Coke, smile, and shut up?"

Why isn't there a taxonomy of religious belief that begins with axioms?

For example, the first axiom of religious belief might be
1. There exists a supernatural realm separate from the natural realm.

What are the other axioms of religious thought? Can atheists and agnostics agree with the theists on any of these?

Why are atheists so much like those they rail against (the theists).

They both seem to have a "lock" on the truth.

Yes there is a god.

No there isnt.

While i am doubtful there is a god, and even MORE doubtful that it would care about what we do every day.

I cant know for sure either way.
