I would talk to the teacher directly first and then if things aren't so nice on a one on one with her then I would involve the administrator but kids sometimes misconstrue what is said!

You need to step up to his teacher! Go in and talk with her and the principal together and tell them that it was completely inappropriate for her to say that to a child. (This way the teacher can't turn your words around and she'll also be put on the spot, which might teach her a lesson!) And tell your son that it doesn't matter if his teacher likes him or not, he's perfect just the way that he is!

First I would schedule a meeting with the teacher..with your child present and find out what her side of the story is. If you aren't satisfied then I'd speak to the administrator/superintendent or whom ever is the teachers boss. Often times children blow things out of proportion or take things the wrong way. If that is what happened in this case it would be beneficial to let the teacher know that. If your son was not mistaken then it would be appropriate to go to the higher authority.

It is not a teachers place to tell a student that she doesnt like him.. and as a father i think you should walk into the teachers room in the morning when you drop off your son and get in her face about it. But not raging, just let her know that you are mad and that it is absolutley ridiculous that she would say this to your son, he is there to learn not to be ridiculed ecpessialy by his teacher. Then i would write a very pissed off letter to the head administator.!!! I hope that i have helped..

Well the first thing you need to do is talk with your son if you havent already and then you need to make a trip up to his school and have a discussion with an administrator the teacher and your son to see exactly what happened. and just take it from there. and if your son doesn't fell comfortable with this person being his teacher then change his school or teachers.

first of all sometimes kids misunderstand what teachers say ,when my son was younger i told him if he didn't stop doing this or that he would be grounded!! and guess what he thought i said ... that i was going to kill him because he took grounded as being put in the ground wow i was so hurt ,so its best to go with him and have a sit down talk with the teacher first.if it doesn't go well document everything and then go to the principal,if that fails turn it in to a higher person ,school district and then go to the board. but i found with my boy its best some times to say well we don't go to school to like or dislike people and its not always nice the things people do but you go there to learn and now you know not to learn things like that but just learn the facts the teacher is teaching and be nice, because in the end we cant always be there for our kids and they will forever have ot be dealing with stuff like this and its easier on them to learn to let it go than to get upset tell him its not him but her ,now my son gets all the praise from teachers good luck

You need to talk to the teacher, and kick up a fuss until you get to the bottom of what has happened- your son needs to enjoy going to school, not be put off because his teacher doesn't like him...
I find it atrocious that a teacher would even consider saying that to a child!

By all means go to the school and call the teacher on the carpet, and take it to what ever level you have too. This teacher owes your son an apology. And with that kind of attitude she or he should resign, they have know business teaching kids.

Teachers are not allowed to talk to children that way! Tell the administrator and make sure something happens. We can't have this teacher hurting any other children.

i think you should have a meeting with the teacher and your son and talk to her about it before going to the administrator b/c she could have said she didn't like him right now b/c he was acting rude in class and he took it the wrong way. if you don't feel that she was fair then tell the principal. kids feelings gets hurt easily and he could have mistook her sarcasm as a insult.
