Sometimes is best no to touch it and just keep an eye on it.
If you hadn't had Hodgkins you would just accept the doctors decision, but you're unsure and I don't blame you. But by doing anything to it, it might even spread. So, look at it once a week and see if it changes its appearance and keep up your doctor appointments.
And enjoy life, too much worry bring on stress and that's not good for your health either.
Good Luck next appointment!

Unfortunately with lymphoma you often never get full closure but you just have to learn to live your life to the fullest anyways. I hate to tell you this but if the spots were large enough to show up on a PET scan then the cancer is probably back. You don't say how long was the interval between the PET scan and your appt. this month but I'm guessing it was six weeks or less. If you are not having any severe symptoms like night sweats, fevers, weight loss, then I can understand why the Dr didn't just rush you back into treatment because now she will be able to measure the growth of the spots between the two visits and then determine what treatment regimen will work the best for you. Since you know you had Hodgkin's previously then you might not even need another biopsy but you will certainly need CT scans done regularly to monitor for new tumors, etc.
No one can stand the waiting around when dealing with cancer. The waiting truly sucks and you can't eat or sleep right. Nothing seems to be in order any longer and this makes you feel all out of control. No one like to know their life is out of their control and especially when this feeling is because of cancer.
I guess the best advice I could give is to take one day at a time, enjoy your friends and family and get ready to give it your all in round two.
I know it will be hard or impossible but keep your chin up. You are young, tough and will come out on top. good luck

If you are unsure, just for peace of mind if nothing else, get a second opinion. Your doc doesn't have to know. Better to air on the side of caution I think. Good luck!

Hi Christy
Im going to go another route about cancer. Your doctor isnt aware of the hundreds of methods to heal oneself (never taught), but you have to be open minded and ready to act yourself, most importantly. Cancer is caused by some form of Blockage in the body. Most of the time it's toxins in the blood caused by lack of nutrition, stress, and clogged bowels. Learn to detoxify and cleanse the organs/blood in your system. Colon, Liver, and Kidney cleanses will help clean the blood and help the body recover from any disease.
"All the body needs is some assistance and it will heal itself"
Stress which blocks the energy centers in our body and prevents the normal flow channels and causes major issues. Cancer is just another disease that we created ourselves, so we have the power to heal it.
Ive seen and helped people heal themselves of disease. It's a matter of seeing outside the box and understanding what really is happening and healing the issue yourself. I could go on and on here and if you really want to heal the issue then start looking internal for answers. People see what they want to and the answers are in front of them most of the time.
Here is a good website (healmarketplace.com) I recommend for it's healing program using herbs. Several more out there and Ive see people have success with these two in particular with the Incurables Program.
Benjamin Franklin "The best of all medicines are rest and fasting"
Here are the 5 main issues that cause illness and disease,
THis situation I hear all the time. Ignore or surpress one issue and it turns into another issue in the future. Here are the 5 vital things that cause illness and disease. Blockage causes all health issues and here they are.
1. stress = most of it self induced. Even thinking and actually talking about negative means you attact negative energy. Visualize and "Feel" a healthy beautiful body (end result) and you'll have it before you know it.
2. Lack of water. I could write a book about that (actually will write one this year). Must have a gallon of distilled water (room temperture) with lemon every day to flush out the toxins and poisons in the body. This also helps with weight by creating more bile for the liver, which helps flush more waste.
3. Nutrition = this helps heal the body and will gives it energy to work on the internal issues. Mainly organic fruit and vegetables. If you only ate those for 7-10 days and drank water you would see a change in your energy and be on your way to better health. Letting the body rest from digesting meats, dairy, and processed foods will do wonders for you.
4. clogged colon = Not eliminating the processed food and chemicals we eat every day will give anyone an illness and/or disease. If doctors we're actually taught this, our society would be much improved. DO a colon cleanse First, then do a liver cleanse to improve your organs functions to help fix the issues.
5. Blockage of energy = Our body has a flow of certain energy and it can get blocked from negative thoughts, words, and actions. This is where a Pranic or Reiki healer can make a difference in releasing or freeing these energy blocks.
Make decisions and take control of your health. Who else will? Leave it to drugs and you'll be another statistic. The body is a wonderful temple and it can heal itself if you give it some assistance. You can do it Christy!
"Health is our greatest freedom"
Educate oneself on healing and you'll have a freedom I just cant explain.
Best of health to you
