There is a group of 6 guys on the fd that is sexually harrasing me. They grab my butt and boobs and make lots of obscene comments. I don't want to go to the cheif or cops cuz then these guys will make me misreble and i won't be able to stay with this fire department or any in the area cuz they will say "don't look at her or speak to her or she will tell." What are some things I can do that will make these guys respect me more? Just remember my career is on the line

I would punch them in the face...and when someone asks what happened to them they will either say "I got beet up by a girl" or you can tell them "He grabbed me inappropriately for the last time, and anyone else who does it will understand" Make sure to yell really loud "stop touching me" or "Hands off" if they touch you. you cannot send mixed messages!! This is NEVER okay!!

I would tell the HR person at the city. you don't have to go directly to the police chief. But you should let someone know something is going on so it is on record. Let them know you are trying to handle it on your own but if you need assistance at least it has been reported. There is also a chance the if they are doing this to you they have done it to others. So when it is investigated they may not think it is you who told. If they are married i would also tell their wives that they need to be watchful. The wives will not like you but at least they will know!!

I have had the same problem whe I worked at a car dealership. I told and they handled it very professionally. Yes, I did feel weird around the guy, but that is what they do to you. They make it about you, they make you feel bad when you have done NOTHING wrong!!! It is not your fault!! Don't let them win, or it may not stop.

GOOD LUCK!!!
