Why Not ?

Just because they are of opposite sex you cant leave them.
Trust is the soul of Relationship. If you have it then you both should not have a problem.

At last i would say its -
Perfectly Fine!

Of course it fine for both of you to have friends of the opposite sex. Remember "just friends" and it's actually healthy to have friends of both genders. We all are forever evolving and growing as individuals and learning from each other is a wonderful opportunity. No one should retrict themselves whether in a relationship or not. My fiancee and I both have friends that are of the opposite sex. My fiancee has been knowing his female friend for many years before we met. It would be selfish and uncaring of me to say to him "he should not remain friends with her because she's of the opposite gender". How stupid does that sound? Very stupid indeed. Having true friends is a gift.

This doesn't take away from what both of you shared.
Because what you're sharing is on a exclusive one on one relationship. Loving each other unconditionally and truly nothing will get in between your love if that's what you're worried about. Good Luck!

it is always better to have friend of the opposite sex - no matter even you are married or in a relationship.

it should be a healthy relation and no sex should be involved.

you both should have no secrets about your friends.

once in a month you all friends should come to-gather for open discussions , food and fun.

then if you have old good friends / classmates from the opposite sex, it would mean that you would have to stop seeing them because you share your life with someone ?

That would be wrong. As long as you put a limit between friendship and love, then there is no problems.

I don't see a problem with it personally, But I do think you have to be a secure person and have trust in your relationship to do so. Things only lead to other things if you want it to. Trust is the key word..I don't feel its ok to be friends with a person who is interested in you more then a friend..I treat my male friends like I treat my female friends..

To be honest, i know i couldnt handle my boyfriend having a friend of the opposite sex......just like i dont have any close friend that are guys.......

I don't see the problem, just as long as they are friends. If you trust each other enough, and respect each other, I see no problem. You are responsible of your own actions.
I've had guy friends while in a relationship, and I've never had a problem, because my boyfriends have trusted me.
